For young students or for students just starting their piano journey, I recommend 30 minute lessons.

For adult students or students at an intermediate or advanced level, I recommend 45-60 minute lessons.

I am certified to teach students of all ages, from young children who have a desire to play to adults looking to start a new hobby or lifelong dream!

The short answer is, yes! Having a piano for both our lessons and practicing throughout the week is vital. However, this does not mean you need to spend thousands to get an upright piano! There are many budget friendly options, including electric keyboards (with weighted keys, of course) to help accommodate your lifestyle.
